Milan is almost 10 months old. According to a baby app which I have in my phone, this means a new step in his education. And this step is accompanied by a number of symptoms; worse sleep, less reduced appetite and more moody.
As all steps which he had before (and probably with all the ones that has to follow) the app told me the truth. But now Milan has something new added to this step…his own will. As small as he is he already knows what he wants and what he doesn’t want. This isn’t always easy to handle, but with a lot of “ignoring” I’m getting somewhere. On the other side it also has a fun side; you will discover the character of your baby, he becomes more “human” every day and he is able to “tell” me what he wants and doesn’t want.
This also applies to eating and drinking. Milan does know when, where and how he wants to eat and drink. He prefer to eat by himself with a fork :)) It’s great to see how quick he learns this kind of things. And I am such a proud mom that he is able to do this by himself, that’s the most funny thing of them all.
Drinking is also a “thing”. He doesn’t drink from a sippy cup yet, he doesn’t understand how this works. But I did want to give him a different bottle than his milk bottle so he may drink water and tea from a different bottle.
He does understand this bottle from Twistshake. And by the blue color I think he even likes it. Before Milan become 6 months, I had never heard of this bottle nore this brand. I used Dr.Brown baby bottles which are known as the number one baby bottles when it comes to minimizing the change of colic. But in my opinion these bottles have a dull color and aren’t that easy to clean.
The bottle of Twistshake has the same effect: minimizing the change of colic. The mixer effectively dissolves the solution and prevents clogging of milk. And it has an anti-colic teat.
The bottle has a anti-leak cover as well. In my opinion this is indispensable for a mom! Cause you don’t want milk spots in your bag or an empty bottle when your bottle was full when you left home…Compare to the Dr.Brown bottle, the Twistshake bottle is easy to clean and has such a fashionable color!
I don’t use it for Milans milk bottles anymore but I use it as an “in between bottle” till he is able to drink from a sippy cup. In addition to the functional part, I really like the colors. Besides blue there is pink, white, orange, green and purple.
AND….I MAY GIVE AWAY TWO OF THEM!!
Next Friday 30 October I will choose two winners! Good luck!
